The M.Ed. in Instructional Technology is 37-38 semester hours and consists of 12 courses, seven courses in the major area of Instructional Technology and five courses in Educational Foundations. In addition to preparing teachers of children with visual impairments,
the M.S. in Visual Disabilities, through FSU's Satellite Program in
Visual Impairment, is designed to train teachers in various areas of
specialization. Students develop individualized programs based
on their areas of interest including orientation and mobility, early
childhood education for individuals with visual impairments, education
of visually impaired individuals in transition, and education of
visually impaired individuals with profound disabilities. There
is a critical teacher shortage of professionals in this area of
education throughout the United States, including metropolitan and
rural areas.

The PhD in Leadership and Education with a specialization in Higher Education Administration is diversified in scope and can prepare a student for teaching and administrative positions in community colleges, four year colleges and universities, or a career path in industry. The cohort model for this program encourages peer support and networking within the educational community. The doctoral program is taught in face-to-face and blended formats at the EPI Center in an accelerated format with 54 credits. During the coursework, a student attends a Dissertation Seminar which provides guidance in preparing a dissertation proposal. The curriculum includes courses in Leadership in Education, Higher Education Administration, Organizational Change, and the foundations of Research.
